| The Marshalltown Area
United Way currently has a 21 member volunteer board
of directors which meets monthly to set the policies
and make local decisions regarding this United Way.
Board members are selected based on their vocations
in the community.
The nomination committee tries to select
a good cross section of the community as representatives
on the board. Each board member serves a 3-year term
beginning in May. Each board member may serve 2 three-year
terms on the board. The Marshalltown Area United Way
Board of Directors is the policy & decision-maker
in guiding and directing the local United Way.

The board meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 4:30
