On Thursday, July 13th, 2023, CJ Bienert, the cheesemonger from The Cheese Shop of Des Moines, brought his expertise to Marshalltown to share unique cheese pairings. CJ is a bonafide cheese expert and explained what gives each cheese its properties, the regions where it is produced and all sorts of other interesting information. Guests were welcomed by Janet Collison playing the harp, enjoyed a beverage in the entrance of The MACC and then began the interactive experience with CJ. Our first event with the Cheese Shop of Des Moines was successful and raised approximately $2,700 for the 2023-2024 campaign!
