United Way Works for a Healthier America
United Way's health goal is to enable individuals and families to improve their health. This requires increasing access to health care and health insurance, but also creating healthy communities, access to healthy food, and ensuring children and families get off to healthy start.
When it comes to assessing health services, a person's zip code should never be a deterrent to success, nor should it be a barrier to improved health. Yet for many, thats a daily reality.
By making it easier for individuals to access substance abuse programs, receive quality health care and access nutritious foods, we're fighting to help everyone get and stay healthy.
